How You Can Help

Donations made to the TCEWF are tax deductible under section 80-G of Indian Tax Act of 1961 subject to the limits prescribed in the law. Donations can be also tax deductible in the USA when made through the Tibet Fund, 241 East, 32nd street, New York, NY 10016, USA. Our foreign contribution registration number is 182450004 dated 28th January 1985.

The work of the Department of Education/Tibetan Children's Educational and Welfare Fund (TCEWF) is largely dependent on generosity of organizations and individuals. Your support and contribution to the TCEWF programs can greatly help in providing quality education to the needy Tibetan children, many of who have come all the way from Tibet risking even their lives while crossing Himalayan mountain passes.

You can become a sponsor of any of the projects by sending TCEWF the suggested contribution and specifying which project you are supporting. TCEWF will ensure the money is used for the earmarked project, and send you a receipt and a thank you letter.
